Description
This Chardonnay comes from the Saar region and is grown on Devonian slate. The golden-yellow grapes were selectively hand-harvested and then gently pressed. Aging in tonneaux with extended lees contact underscores the true character of this wine.
It presents itself with a very typical Chardonnay nose, underscored by floral notes. Primary aromas include light quince, vanilla, guanabana, and other exotic fruits. The oak influence is pleasantly subtle.
A good accompaniment to fish dishes. Serve chilled!
